What is The Attic?

Simply put, the attic is THE place for teens from across the South Arkansas area to connect with each other and with God.

The attic is the 1,700 square foot student center at East Main Baptist Church.  The attic is located on the second floor of the education building and has just about everything a teenager could be looking for in a hang out spot. 

The attic features pool tables, ping pong, a Wii video game system with several popular games to pass your time with.  If you are looking for a place to chill out... the attic has plenty of couches for that too! 

Not to mention The Attic Cafe'!  The attic cafe is open on Wednesday night's before and after IGNITE and on Sunday mornings before FUEL.  2009 brings the return of some menu favorties to the cafe so come check it out!

On Wednesday's we  are always serving up something in the Attic Cafe' from pizza to "attic dogs" you never know what we will be serving this week but one thing is for sure... the cost... FREE, no charge, nada!

On Sunday's The Attic Cafe' features our fresh bagels and cream cheese before Fuel.  Plain, Blueberry or Cinnamon Rasin the bagel choice is yours and of course, they are free!

The Attic cafe' also stocks some of the coldest soft drinks in all of South Arkansas... So, come thirsty.... leave not thirsty!  

Sunday Mornings!

FUEL - High Octane Bible Study
Doors open around 8:30 to the Attic cafe' with Bible study getting kicked off somewhere around 9:15!

FUEL is an multi-media driven Bible Study experience that uses today’s technology to "ignite new life with God’s story".

FUEL takes a teen through all the major story lines of the Bible in just two years. 

Fuel small groups are lead by Sheri Rankin, Renee Dean and Timothy Thurlkill.
